Iran and Uganda Hold Third Round of Political Consultations in Kampala

A high-level Iranian delegation, led by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director-General for Africa, Amb. A. Khosravinejad, held the third round of political consultations with Ugandan officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in Kampala. 

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, deepening cooperation in key sectors, and enhancing diplomatic engagements between the two nations. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to fostering mutual interests and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

Following the consultations, the Iranian delegation paid a courtesy visit to Uganda’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Henry Okello Oryem, where further discussions on bilateral cooperation were held.
